Identifier Field

Identifier is an unique field used across the project's publications to identify documents.

For all documents filmed on the JAPM, the identifier is: JAPM-Reel_StartFrame. Pad the reel numbers and frame numbers if needed so that they sort nicely.

All newly discovered documents will have an identifier that starts with JAPA (Jane Addams Papers Additional) and a consecutive four-digit number. Pad the number with zeros so that it sorts nicely.
